The 2022 Bayhill Premier Tournament finally kicked off tonight Friday the 15th as the official opening match between defending champions Highlands Park and D&G Orient took place.
With Highlands Park having to defend their honor, the stage was set for a fired-up game.
D & G Orient had the first opportunity at goal as Highlands Park’s goalkeeper made a massive save to deny them the lead.
Highlands Park came back into the game as their goalkeeper #34 Innocent Mabhena provided outstanding ball distribution onto both wings, breaking down D&G Orient defensive lines.
Heading into the 2nd half D&G Orient could not handle the one touch football Highlands Park provided unfortunately they could not take advantage as the match ended in a 0 – 0 score line.
