Grassy Park made their return to the Premier Cup against Rebels FC. It showed to be a well-balanced match as both sides had equal opportunities. The midfield was dominated by Rebels midfielders Mtika Qwabe and Makabongwe Mninzi as Grassy Park struggled to get their flow. A mistake from the Rebels defender Bukho Mbodle almost cost them a goal as they lost possession in a critical area but Grassy Park’s #11 Cheslin Parsons was denied as his shot at goal hit the near post.
An entertaining and well-balanced match ended with a 0-0 scoreline.
